Competition Athletic Surfaces builds, resurfaces and repairs tennis courts, running tracks, turf fields, backyard Sport Courts and indoor sports surfaces throughout the southeastern United States.

Our staff has a combined over 50 years of experience in the athletic surfaces industry while working on nearly every type of surface, including resilient track surfaces, all types of tennis court surfaces, Sport Court modular surfaces, synthetic turf surfaces, and synthetic indoor sports floors.

throughout the South, has been held in Chattanooga since 1956. The ITA Men's All-American Championships were held in Chattanooga in 2002 through 2004. The tradition of tennis in this city is remarkable, and we apply skill and workmanship worthy of that tradition.

Tennis Courts

Three Southeastern Conference tennis teams –the University of Tennessee, the University of Alabama, and Mississippi State University – are now playing on Competition Athletic Surfaces’ tennis courts. Likewise Birmingham Southern University, UNC, JSU, ETSU, Murray State, University of the South at Sewanee. As you would expect, different coaches want different types of surfaces, and we have a reputation for delivering a surface that matches the team’s personality.

Track Surfaces

A wide variety of clients have called on us to install walking and running tracks: Moody Air Force Base, Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, Warner Robbins Air Force Base, Fort Benning, Fort Campbell, and a wide range of public and private high schools and colleges throughout the Southeast. We even installed a rooftop fitness track for Unum’s corporate headquarters in downtown Chattanooga.

Sport Courts

Indoor sports floors, backyard play areas, basement weight rooms….Competition Athletic Surfaces can install a surface designed for your use.

Synthetic Turf

Football fields, soccer pitches, lacrosse, baseball, bocce and other play areas, we have the experience to convert your natural grass sports areas to the synthetic turf of your choice.
