Welcome to Competition Athletic Surfaces. We do just what the name says: construct and repair athletic surfaces for athletic facilities, primarily in the Southeastern United States. We believe athletic competition achieves its highest form when contested on high-quality surfaces, and we deliver a product that is consistent in its look, durability and playability.
We do it better than anyone else we know, and we proudly and confidently invite you to ask our customers to evaluate our products and our service.
We treat clients as partners. Whether it’s a tennis court, a walking track, a football field or a gym floor, we take the time to learn what those partners want and need. Then, we deliver it on time and on budget, using only the highest quality track material. We have installation experience with resilient track surfaces, standard hard court surfaces, cushioned hard court surfaces and synthetic turf surfaces.
Experience counts, and our staff has more than a half-century of experience installing and repairing athletic surfaces that cover the spectrum of sport.
If you can play on it, we can install it. The proof, as they say, is in the portfolio.
Three Southeastern Conference tennis teams –the University of Tennessee, the University of Alabama, and Mississippi State University – are now playing on Competition Athletic Surfaces’ tennis courts. Likewise Birmingham Southern University, UNC, JSU, ETSU, Murray State, University of the South at Sewanee. As you would expect, different coaches want different types of surfaces, and we have a reputation for delivering a surface that matches the team’s personality.
A wide variety of clients have called on us to install walking and running tracks: Moody Air Force Base, Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, Warner Robbins Air Force Base, Fort Benning, Fort Campbell, and a wide range of public and private high schools and colleges throughout the Southeast. We even installed a rooftop fitness track for Unum’s corporate headquarters in downtown Chattanooga.
Indoor sports floors, backyard play areas, basement weight rooms….Competition Athletic Surfaces can install a surface designed for your use.
Football fields, soccer pitches, lacrosse, baseball, bocce and other play areas, we have the experience to convert your natural grass sports areas to the synthetic turf of your choice.
